My mission is to help single parents. Parents raising children alone. Parents fighting poverty. My mission is bold: to give them tools for financial independence. To show them how to create sustainable, automated income streams. To give them time back, indeed precious time with their children.
While single parents are not my target market, they are why I'm dedicated. I'm sure my members will appreciate that any contribution to this community helps families struggling to survive.
My Personal Story of Resilience
I got married in my 40s. I told my husband what the doctors had told me, that I’d be unlikely ever to have children. I’d already lost three. He was okay with that and very shocked when I fell pregnant.
But unfortunately, we lost her when I was about three months along. The preparation for that kind of loss does not exist.
Happily, baby number five is now a thriving teenager. (That's him as a week old baby in my very happy arms)
Unfortunately, my ex-husband didn’t share the same commitment to our family. Just days after my son’s first birthday, he walked out. We haven’t seen or spoken to him since. He refuses to acknowledge or contribute to his son’s welfare. We had to write him off.
The years that followed were brutal. I underwent a serious operation due to complications from the birth. During my recovery, I lost my rented home to an unscrupulous landlord. At 42, I found myself moving back in with my mum, a humbling and challenging moment.
To survive, I started building websites and managing Facebook profiles. The work kept the money trickling in, but we barely got by. I managed to secure a flat in the town where my son was born. However, when we arrived in the car with all our belongings, the deal fell through. Homeless, we slept in the car until my friends rallied around. Over the next six months, we lived with three different friends until I got back on my feet.
Doing this with a baby was crushing but also motivating. I learned resilience, determination, and deep appreciation for my community. I realised that digital marketing was my lifeline, a job I could do from anywhere. I worked when my son slept, often into the early hours. I never had a traditional employer. The freedom to stop, start, and work from home was essential.
Every penny I earned went into learning. Food and rent came first, but after that, I invested in courses and training to master the modern digital marketplace. The education I paid for was what ultimately paid the bills.
Family has always been at the heart of everything I do. Having my son and being part of a broader family network was so important. As parents of young children, we shared everything: hand-me-downs, toys, advice, and support. It wasn’t just about getting by; it was about creating a sense of community, of knowing that we weren’t alone in the journey of parenthood. Those shared moments and acts of kindness shaped not only our family’s life but also inspired the values that underpin PassivAi® today.
Now, I'm giving back.
Seeing a family being lifted out of poverty through education is one of the most inspiring things I know. As someone who homeschools, I’ve experienced how transformative a home education can be in today’s world. It’s not just about academics—it’s about nurturing creativity, resilience, and the skills to build a brighter future.
The thought of helping a family thrive, of seeing children and adults alike grow together and embrace new opportunities, means so much to me. Education is a lifeline, and being part of a life-changing transformation is an honour and a mission for me.
Maybe one of the parents I coach will use AI to create something extraordinary and change their family’s future.
